Steph Morin is a Canadian singer-songwriter born in Montreal. His music career started a little more than 15 years ago, in a bar, as he asked a singer if he could play a few songs between two sets. The guy said ok! He was hired right after by the owner and he played there for 6 months in a row. After playing covers in the Quebec area for a couple of years, he decided to hit the road with his own material.
THIS PROJECT IS ALL ABOUT DREAMS, LOOKING FORWARD, HOPE, PATHS WHERE EVERYONE HAS WALKED AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFE AND CAN RECOGNIZE THEMSELVES IN.
Steph is a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen & Bon Jovi, he likes to hang out at least once a year in New Jersey where he met Alex Lorenzo (Hakuzu), a local musician he met in a music store in Asbury Park in the summer of 2015. Alex asked him to play one of his songs and said ”Man, you have to write more songs and release something… you sound great!”. He got back to his hotel room and wrote ‘Last Train’, which became his first radio single as well as the foundation of his new project. As soon as he returned to Montreal, his new musical adventure began. He called his friends and got rushed in the studio where he produced ‘I Won’t Forget You’, his debut EP album released in June 2018.
Since then, his material has been well received by medias all across Canada & the United States. In 2018, Quebec voted for him and he made it to the top 10 in an opening act contest for Bon Jovi. He recently played two nights at Le Ministère in Montreal, small venues in the United States, appeared in several radio shows, and this is just the beginning of his journey.
Get ready, you are about to hear his name more than once…
