Steph Morin is a Canadian singer-songwriter who started on the Montreal music scene a little more than 15 years ago. After playing covers in the bars for a couple of years, he decided to write his own stuff and create songs that can reach people’s emotions.
He built a team of talented musicians and went on tour to show his work to the people. At his ease on the stage and showing lots of fun to exchange with his audience, Steph builds his name on the Quebec french music market. He also tries to be involved with every social cause he can help.
THIS PROJECT IS ALL ABOUT DREAMS, LOOKING FORWARD, HOPE, PATHS WHERE EVERYONE HAS WALKED AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIFE AND CAN RECOGNIZE THEMSELVES IN.
Steph is a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen & Bon Jovi, he likes to hang out at least once a year in New Jersey where he meets his new friend Alex Lorenzo, a local musician he met in a music store in Asbury Park. One day, Alex asked him to play one of his songs and told him ”Man, you have to write more and release something… you sound great!”. He got back to his hotel room and wrote ‘Last Train’, which became his first commercial radio single as well as the foundation of his new project. As soon as he returned to Montreal, his new musical adventure began, he hired musicians from a well known local band called Raffy and got back in the studio where he produced ‘I Won’t Forget You’, his debut EP album released in June 2018. He is now working on an upcoming album called ‘Last Train’.
Since then, his material has been well received by medias all across Canada & United States. He recently made it to the top 10 in an opening act contest for Bon Jovi in Montreal. It is just the beginning of the journey, get ready, you are about to hear his name more than once in the next months…
